GABERDINEA single weight sans, Gaberdine is a gently expressive face featuring generous ascenders and descenders in the lowercase letterforms and handsome non-lining numerals. The uppercase, at first glance reminiscent of Paul Renner's Futura Condensed, sports a very characteristic upper case Q. Gaberdine was used extensively in Rentfont, the second of the Ampersand book series in 1998.
